Any philosophy that refuses to evolve with the changing times is doomed for a number of reasons. I can tell you from my own personal dealings with Mystery that he is a very bright guy. He knows it too, and his success in the pickup world has only solidified his belief that there is only one way, and that's his way.
The inherent problem with this is when someone starts to believe so much in something they've created, they lose flexibility. They become rigid and stuck in their ways to preserve the ego.
Times are changing quickly and women have adapted to the relative transparency of the Mystery Method. (I am, of course, referring to the original system that Mystery developed. Savoy now owns the name and has thankfully made legitimate innovations) I believe in order for Mystery to stay afloat in the long run, that major changes need to be made to his system. And I'm not talking about changing H4 to Z6, I'm talking about a complete overhaul which probably ain't gonna happen.
There is good news here of course....
